About Kim

“Kimberly is a strong and versatile performer
who has been entertaining audiences all her life.“

After graduating HS, she left home and headed west to pursue her dream of acting. She attended the prestigious drama program at San Jose University (San Jose, CA) and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts. She toured with her famous father (Dickey Betts/Allman Brothers Band) on their west coast 7 Turns Tour where she learned a lot watching the industry work from behind the scenes. Kim has enjoyed a full career performing on stages all across the United States in the 90‘s and early 2000‘s.

Most of her stage time has been in Musical Theatre and she has played fabulous roles such as Ado Annie/Oklahoma!, Lina Lamont/Singing in the Rain, Julie LaVerne/Showboat and Miss Adelaide/Guys&Dolls. After having 2 children, she returned home to sunny Florida in 2007. Happy to be home with her family, she focused on raising her children and turned her sights to live music. She taught children voice lessons from her home studio and started Gamble Creek Band which delights Floridians of all ages far and wide. Kim’s future is exciting as new music projects are being developed and her new original single “Smile” has just been released. She is very passionate about developing youth in the arts and dedicates her time to children’s charities and arts programs.
